AWHE Conference, April 2nd – 4th, 2025

Now accepting Workshop Proposals!
The 2025 Arizona Women in Higher Education (AWHE) Annual Conference will be held at the Prescott resort in Prescott, Arizona on April 2-4, 2025. We are seeking proposals from applicants to facilitate 50-minute presentations relating to this year’s conference theme “Threads of Belonging: Weaving Community Through Human Interaction”
We welcome proposals from individuals or groups, of any gender identity, who support AWHE’s commitment to improving the general climate and professional environment for women in Arizona’s higher education systems. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals in faculty and/or staff roles, community leaders, and anyone who is a champion for women in higher education.
Proposals can, and should, highlight challenges and opportunities for individuals in any stage of their career such as new to higher education, transitioning to new roles, executive, or moving into retirement.
Successful workshop proposals are grouped into tracks that will center around the following topics:
- Career Advancement and Networking
- Diversity and Equity
- Teaching and Learning
- Technology and Innovation
- Wellness and Mental Health
- Leadership
- Retirement and Turning Points
Important Note:
- 2025 AWHE Presenters will be charged a discounted rate of $250.00
- All invited presenters must pay the registration fee to attend and present their session(s)
- In the spirit of camaraderie in which AWHE was founded, presenters are asked to share their knowledge without compensation and are responsible for their own travel and conference registration costs.
