Mentor of the Year

Mentor of the Year

We are proud to introduce a new award for the 2024 conference celebrating women in higher education, Mentor of the Year!

The AWHE Mentor of the Year Award will be presented annually to someone who demonstrates mentoring excellence. They have had an impact on mentees through their accessibility and availability while serving as a role model for mentees. Their work as a mentor, either formal or informal, also contributes to their department, institution, or the overall community.

This may be a personal mentor, an exemplary mentor who you have observed mentoring others, or a person who manages an outstanding mentoring program. A nominee does not have to be a current or past participant in the AWHE Mentorship program.
