We are excited to announce that the AWHE Conference 2024, Once Upon a Time: How Stories Inspire Leadership will be held in person, April 10-12, 2024, at the beautiful We-Ko-Pa Resort in Fort McDowell, AZ. In addition to our full in person program, we are also offering a limited virtual program for a reduced registration cost. Keep checking back for more details as they are finalized!
Hotel Accommodations
The 2024 conference will be held at the beautiful We-Ko-Pa Resort in Fort McDowell, AZ. The Conference room rate is $199 (pre-tax). The resort fee is WAIVED, and the room rate includes free valet parking, free wifi, tee time discounts at the Golf Club, and 10% off Amethyst Spa services!
As of 3/21/24 the AWHE group discount rate noted above is no longer available. Ticketing Options
- In person tickets include a breakfast Thursday and Friday and a lunch on Thursday and Friday. In person registrants will have one year of free access to any recorded sessions.
- Virtual tickets include limited access to the conference via a schedule of live presentations. Virtual registrants will have one year of free access to all recorded sessions.
- Discounts for IRs, mentor program participants, etc, are automatically applied when you are logged into your account! Please be sure to log in before purchasing!

Registration Policies
All registrations must be paid in full prior to Friday, March 22, 2024. Please email awhe@awhe.org if you need to pay offline via check. If you selected the option when registering to pay offline previously (ex – mailing a check) you will not be included in conference planning numbers until checks are received. Checks check must be received by Friday, March 22, 2024 for your registration to be valid to attend the event.
Substitutions within the same institution are accepted at no additional fee until Friday, March 29, 2024. Please email awhe@awhe.org for substitution support.
Cancellation Policies
Should you register to attend and your plans change, please email awhe@awhe.org for cancellations. Cancellations received:
Through February 1, 2024, will be processed as a 100% refundFrom February 2, 2024 through February 29, 2024, a 50% refund will be provided- After March 2, 2024, AWHE will be unable to refund any registration payments for the conference. Substitutions within the same institution are accepted at no additional fee until Friday, March 29, 2024. Please email awhe@awhe.org for substitution support.
No-Shows occur when individuals register but do not attend the conference. No-Shows are not eligible for a refund.
