We’re excited to announce that Arizona Women in Higher Education (AWHE) will be hosting the Annual Arizona Women in Higher Education Conference on April 10-12, 2024. We are excited to host this in person event in Fort McDowell, AZ, at the beautiful We-Ko-Pa resort!
The annual AWHE Conference is a multi-day event that provides its members with networking opportunities and the chance to share their knowledge with other practitioners and educators. While the conference is open to anyone to attend, our goal is to create a network for women in higher education that enhances leadership potential, builds skills toward higher-level positions, shares information and secures nomination to open positions, provides opportunities to gain experience and develop skills in leadership, encourages establishment of mentoring relationships, and encourages support of women already advanced in higher education.
Around 200 Educators – such as Senior Administrators, mid-level managers, and Faculty members – are expected to attend this year’s conference. These decision makers from across the state will come together to network and discuss successes and challenges they face every day. The conference will include dynamic keynote speakers, panel discussions, and specialized speakers, along with pre-conference events.
