Testimonials:
“My mentor provides invaluable guidance and support by helping me navigate various work challenges that directly impact my career path. Her insight has been instrumental in shaping my professional goals and aspirations.”
“The encouragement and support that I have received from my mentor has increased my self-efficacy tremendously. Knowing that I have someone in my corner whom I trust and who believes in me and my potential has empowered me to pursue ambitious goals with determination and resilience.”
The goal of the mentorship program is to provide opportunities for emerging women leaders in higher education to connect with and learn from senior women leaders across Arizona from a variety of higher education settings. Through networking opportunities, career and leadership development, mentors will assist mentees in navigating their leadership journey through goal setting and guidance.
The AWHE mentorship program will match 15 mentors with 45 mentees to create 15 mentoring groups. This is a no-cost opportunity for AWHE members. If you are not currently an AWHE member, you can join AWHE today and submit an application to the AWHE Mentorship Program.
Application Deadline is Monday, April 26th, 2024. Each applicant should submit a completed application form, a current resume or curriculum vitae, a brief bio and a reference.
Mentors will be matched with up to three mentees to participate in monthly mentoring groups for the 2024-2025 academic year beginning in September 2024.
