AWHE hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including virtual Lunch & Learns and our Annual Conference. In addition, we share events that may be of interest to our members here.
Annual Conference
Each year, the AWHE Executive Board and team of Institutional Representatives work together to create a statewide conference designed to bring people together to discuss issues important to Women in Higher Education.

2026 Conference
The 2026 Arizona Women in Higher Education Conference, themed “A Challenge to Change: Heart-Led Leadership in Uncertain Times,” will bring higher education professionals together in Prescott to explore leadership, mentorship, and community during a period of change in higher education.

2025 Conference
The 2025 Arizona Women in Higher Education (AWHE) Conference, themed “Threads of Belonging: Weaving Community Through Human Interaction,” brought professionals together in Prescott to explore leadership, connection, and inclusive community-building in higher education.
2024 Conference
The 2024 AWHE Conference gathered higher education professionals from across Arizona to share strategies for leadership development, mentorship, and advancing women’s roles within colleges and universities statewide.
2023 Conference
The 2023 AWHE Conference focused on strengthening professional networks and supporting career advancement for women working across diverse roles in Arizona higher education institutions.
2022 Conference
The 2022 AWHE Conference provided an opportunity for professionals to reconnect, share knowledge, and collaborate on issues affecting women in higher education after a period of increased virtual engagement.
