Arizona Women in Higher Education offers three annual awards to recognize excellence: Woman of the Year and Emerging Leader, Mentor of the Year award, designed to inspire our members and conference attendees with stories and superb dedication from our recipients. They are awarded at our annual conference in each year.
Arizona Women in Higher Education is now accepting nominations for the Emerging Leader and Woman of the Year awards! You can nominate any deserving individual for this award; they do not have to be a member of AWHE. Mentor of the Year is reserved to recognize those that have served or are currently serving as a mentor in the AWHE mentorship program. Award nominations for the 2025 conference are now closed. Please check back for the 2026 conference.
