AWHE Conference April 10-12, 2024

Need ideas for filling out a conference proposal?

Here are some quick tips!

Picking a Topic for your 2024 AWHE Presentation
Choosing a topic may be one of the hardest parts of agreeing to present. Since we come from diverse  backgrounds and bring with us a wide range of passion and knowledge, it can be hard to focus on just  one thing. When trying to decide what you want to share with AWHE consider the following:

Workshop Title

Workshop Description
(Max 100 Characters)
The workshop description is summary offered conference registration. Conference registration  may be the only opportunity you have to entice potential participants into your workshop. Think of your  workshop description as your elevator pitch.

Conference Topics
Proposals can center around six different topics:

If you are unsure what other topics would be relevant, don’t worry! In a time where many people have had to learn new ways to cope with change, redefine leadership, and create connections, there are plenty of other topics that fit under the conference theme: Once Upon a Time: How Stories Inspire Leadership

Conference Theme Relevance
When there are a lot of proposals, there are many things a committee looks at when making decisions  about what workshops to invite to present at a conference. One thing the committee will review and  consider is how relevant the topic is to the overall conference theme. This can be your opportunity to  consider and highlight those connections so it is clear to a committee member reviewing your  submission.
