An Institutional Representative (IR) is a two-year appointed liaison who serves as their institution’s official representative to the Arizona Women in Higher Education network, helping connect and strengthen the statewide community.

Are you passionate about fostering change on your campus? Institutional Representatives (IRs) serve as ambassadors for AWHE by:

  • Supporting recruitment – helping expand AWHE’s presence with new staff and members
  • Providing feedback – acting as a liaison for campus needs, challenges, and ideas

Arizona Women in Higher Education is run entirely by volunteers! While we have folks who serve as Executive Board members for 3-year terms and apply to serve as Institutional Representatives for 2-year terms, we understand that many folks may not be able to commit to volunteering for those periods of time.

If you would like to potentially be involved in smaller projects that require a shorter period of time commitment, please fill out and submit this form. As project needs arise, a member of our team will contact you based on your submitted interests.
