Interested in serving on the AWHE Board?
Board service offers an exciting opportunity to engage with colleagues across the state, develop new skills, and advance the AWHE mission of supporting women in higher education through professional development, advocacy, and networking.
Eligibility Criteria:
Individuals must meet the following criteria to be eligible to serve on the Board:
- Employed at a higher education institution or an organization that supports higher education initiatives in Arizona for at least 3 years.
- A member of AWHE for at least 2 years
- Serve as an IR for AWHE for at least one year or serve in a leadership role at your higher education institution.
Nominations and Election Timeline:
- April 6: Call for Nominations
- May 4: Nominations close
- May 11: Candidate information and ballots available to members – Voting Opens
- May 25: Voting period closes
- June 1: New Board Members announced
